In order not to misunderstandings, already at the beginning I should clarify, that we are talking about native tree species, which means that the trees are belongs outside.
This also adjusts the watering regime, since the only rule for watering is that there are no rules.
Watering
Watering bonsai is a very easy task, but for the following reasons also very difficult. The quantity and frequency of watering depends on several factors, such as: the type of soil, a mixture of soil, container size and weather conditions.
When watered?
There is no general recipe for watering! Normally you should watering bonsai several times a week; a frequency is dependent on temperature and air humidity. It is important to keep soil moist but not wet.

How to watering?
You must always water from the top, slightly over the tree crown. Add water so long, that the water came through the drainage holes of container. Never watering during the day, this is to avoid cooling the earth, which is best for the roots and water droplets may also cause burns on the sheets. The best time to water is at the evening, so the tree has all night long, as that absorbs more moisture. The best water for irrigation is rainwater.

Each plant has its own requirements for temperature, light, wintering ... therefore it is good to thoroughly check on each plant before the purchase if it will enable a suitable environment for survival.
Containers for bonsai have different forms, colors and materials. The most appropriate containers are made of highly glazed baked clay.
The form and color of the container should be adjusted to bonsai and not vice versa.
Grown must be in an appropriate mixture of peat, sand and clay.
When we take care of such sensitive plant, care must be taken to

Fertilization of Bonsai

Fertilization of Bonsai

Even fertilization of bonsai is very important. In a small container is not much land, and although bonsai most of the time starve to slow growth, they certainly need some food.
In principle we use two types of fertilizers:
-on the basis of nitrogen for leaf growth, adding at the spring and summer
-on the basis of potassium, which promotes the growth of leaves, flowers and fruits, which adding in autumn to strong trunk and branches.
Bonsai fertilizer:
-summer- on 14 days
-winter-1 monthly

Bonsai Tree-How to Start?

Bonsai Tree-How to Start?

The simplest and quickest way is to buy already grown sample. It is also the most expensive. If we want to breed our own bonsai, are very suitable trees from the forest or plantation. It is recommended that you buy a larger number, of instances that do not give up, if our only instance dies. Parenting from seed is not suitable for beginners, because the procedure is time consuming and difficult. However, you must remembered, that the special seeds for bonsai does not exist.

The most favorable period for transplanting young trees from natural habitats is in early spring, when the buds have begun grows, or late autumn, when the vegetative activity take rest. When we find a suitable tree in the wild, the first cut of any superfluous branches, then the tree cautiously emerge in a circle with a diameter of about 30cm, depending on the tree. Damaged root pruned and transplanted the tree as soon as possible. The first transplants performed in the garden or in the larger container so the plant can recover and leave there for at least one year. Even with the forming operations prefer wait. If we planted plant in a container, we have over the winter to ensure, that the roots do not freeze. Therefore, a container buried in the ground with straw or other insulating material.

Watering Bonsai trees

The most complicated part of taking care of your Bonsai is to water it properly.

Watering Bonsai trees

How often a tree needs to be watered depends on several factors (like tree species, size, size of pot, time of year, soil-mixture and climate), which means that it is impossible to say how often you should water Bonsai. However, understanding a few basic guidelines will help you to observe when a tree needs to be watered.

Watering Bonsai trees

As mentioned above, how often to water your Bonsai depends on too many factors for us to give an exact time schedule. Instead, you need to learn to observe your trees and know when they need to be watered. Using the following basic guidelines will help you to water right.
Water your trees when the soil gets slightly dry. This means you should not water your tree when the soil is still wet but only when it feels slightly dry; use your fingers to check the soil at around one centimeter (0.4’’) deep. Once you get more experienced you will be able to see (instead of feeling) when a tree needs watering.

Never water on a routine. Keep observing your trees, one by one, instead of watering them on a daily basis.Use the right soil-mixture. The soil-mixture greatly influences how often trees need to be watered, for most Bonsai trees a mixture of akadama, fine gravel and potting compost mixed together in a ratio of ½ to ¼ to ¼ should be fine. However, use a mixture that retains more water (by using more potting compost) when you cannot water your trees that regularly.
It does not really matter at what time you water a Bonsai; however, try to avoid watering during the afternoon, when the soil has been warmed up by the sun and will cool down rapidly when using cold water.

Watering Bonsai trees

As explained, a tree should only be watered when the soil gets slightly dry. When the tree does require water though, it needs thorough soaking so the entire root system is wetted. To do so, keep watering until water runs out of the drainage holes, and repeat the process about ten minutes later.
Water a tree from above using a watering can with a fine nozzle; this will prevent the soil from being washed away. Using collected rain water is better (as it doesn’t contain added chemicals), but when this is not readily available there is no real problem in using normal tap water.
