Upright formal form

Upright formal form
This is the most simple form of bonsai. It has a vertical straight trunk, which is uniformly surrounded by branches, parallel to the ground. Branches have long, shorter towards the top, however, to create a branching conical. Appropriate Plants: maple, beech, hornbeam, spruce.


Upright spontaneous form

Upright spontaneous form
This format is very common in nature and the most appropriate for beginners. Similar is the formal upright form, but the trunk is more or less bent.
Appropriate Plants: maple, birch, beech, hornbeam, apple trees, oak, spruce, pine...


Windward (Sloping) form

Windward (Sloping) form
This is not inclined planted tree, but trees with more or less inclined to one side of timber, where all the branches growing in one direction, such that the tree was exposed to constant winds in the same direction. Plant it at the very edge of the container, branches, however, beyond the opposite edge.
Suitable plants: birch, larch, willow, pine...
